Welcome to Ludlow
Why Visit Ludlow?
Ludlow is a vibrant market town of the Welsh Marches. In Shropshire, England and close to the Welsh border, it lies within a bend of the River Teme and is centred on the market place below Ludlow Castle. The town is in a sheltered spot beneath the Clee Hills, which are clearly visible from the town.

Ludlow has nearly 500 listed buildings, which include some fine examples of medieval and Tudor-style half-timbered. The parish church of St Laurence is the largest in the county.
Ludlow has become a gastronomic centre and at one point was the only town in England with three Michelin-starred restaurants and eight AA Rosette starred restaurants. It also supports three traditional butchers, a regular farmers market and a range of specialist food shops, as well as hosting the prestigious annual Ludlow food festival.
