La Bécasse ranked in the country’s top 100 Restaurants.

Chef Will Holland of La Bécasse restaurant in Ludlow, Shropshire, is celebrating another accolade after La Bécasse was named in the country’s top 100 restaurants at the National Restaurant Awards 2009. The awards, which took place on the 12th October 2009, are designed to recognise the elite of the UK’s culinary world and to provide an unbiased opinion of the best places to eat in the UK.

Since opening the doors in July 2007, the team at La Bécasse has been earning awards and accolades. A prestigious Michelin Star was awarded in January 2009; before that La Bécasse became Ludlow’s only restaurant with three AA Rosettes, was included in Harden’s Restaurant Guide as well as The Good Food Guide published by Which?, and was voted "Best Fine Dining Restaurant" in the West Midlands by Metro within four months of launching.

The winners of the National Restaurant Awards are compiled and voted for by the National Restaurant Awards Academy. This is made up of prominent chefs, restaurateurs and food critics divided across the 12 regions of the UK ensuring that the list will be truly authoritative and representative of a national unbiased vote.
